Hymax 2 wide-range couplings can connect pipes with different diameters. This allows you to reduce inventory levels, since one Hymax coupling has the range of two or three competitive couplings. Wide range is achieved through a patented gasket system. The innovative flip gasket can easily flip in or out to accomodate different pipe ODs, allowing for faster and more efficient installations.
The unique two-bolt design features a 304 SS spanner on each end for simple installation. The bolts can be adjusted to the proper torque from the topside of the coupling, eliminating the need for extra excavation and under-dig for the wrench. 260 psi working pressure.
