Endress+Hauser Picomag Electromagnetic Flowmeter, G2" Connections, 1.3 to 198 GPM, DMA50-AAAAA1
Description
- Measure flow rate, volume totalization and fluid temperature
- Bluetooth® enabled for easy wireless configuration
- Ideal for tight installations—minimal straight pipe required
The innovative Picomag flowmeter makes it easy to measure flow and temperature in applications with conductive fluids—even in hard-to-reach areas. Its compact design, wireless operation and configurable outputs make this one of the most flexible electromagnetic flowmeters around.
The flowmeter has no pushbuttons or remote displays for programming, startup and operation. Instead, you control it from up to 33 feet away using the Endress+Hauser SmartBlue app on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet (app required; available free from the App Store or Google Play™). The SmartBlue app allows for fast and easy navigation through all device and diagnostic functions. For security, the app features user-specific password protection; you can also disable the flowmeter's Bluetooth if desired. The picomag flowmeter also features IO-Link digital data communication, which is compatible with all conventional fieldbus systems. This gives you the flexibility of integrating the flowmeter with existing infrastructure.
The Picomag flowmeter features a variety of standard inputs, outputs and communication options, which are configurable in the field (up to two at a time). Select from 4-20 mA analog, voltage out, pulse, switch and status input (totalizer reset). The integral color display shows your choice of two measured parameters (temperature, totalized flow or flow rate). The built-in "knock" feature lets you tap the meter to toggle between viewing setup parameters (read-only) and enabling Bluetooth. To ensure easy reading, the display automatically rotates to adjust its mounting position once installed.
Picomag flowmeters are constructed with a stainless steel enclosure with polycarbonate display, PEEK sensor tube, stainless steel connections, FKM seals and 316L stainless steel electrodes. No pipe run is required; however, unit needs three upstream and one downstream straight pipe diameters to meet accuracy specifications. Working pressure is 232 psi. Temperature range is 14 to 158°F (temporarily up to 185°F). Dimensions are 7.9"L x 3.7"W x 3.4"H.
For a complete system, you will need this flowmeter, a smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth capability (source locally), SmartBlue app (free download from the App Store or Google Play), two end connection adapters (provide NPT(M) connection) and a connection cable.
- Range: 1.3 to 198 gpm
- Accuracy: flow: ±2% of range ± 0.5% full scale; temperature: ±4.5°F
