Dwyer Ultrasonic Compact Transit Time Flowmeter, UFM2-14
Description
- Non-contact flow metering for full pipe with clean water applications
- Compact design (10"L x 2'W x 3.6"H) combines clamp-on sensors and electronics in one unit
- Measures flow rate, total and velocity of water in 0.75 to 4" OD pipes
Dwyer's noninvasive ultrasonic flowmeter is an economical replacement for old mechanical or magnetic meters. Use it to measure bidirectional flow in 0.75 to 4" OD plastic, steel and copper pipes. Compact and easy to install, this flowmeter features an adjustable clamp-on guiderail housing that contains two noncontact transit time transducers and meter electronics. Setup and monitoring is simple with an integral keypad and backlit display with full text readout.
The flowmeter features both a 4-20 mA analog output and a configurable-rate frequency/volumetric pulse outlet. Program the unit of measure in your choice of gallons, liters or cubic meters. Accuracy is ±3% for flows greater than 0.98 ft/s. Password protected menus safeguard your settings.
Includes: 16.4'L cable, two small pipe clamps (0.75 to 4"), two large pipe clamps (2 to 5"), pipe clamp spacers for small pipe, and ultrasonic couplant grease. An external 12 to 24 VAC/DC power supply is required but not included; order stock # 74178 separately. Enclosure is polycarbonate, for pipe mounting, rated IP54.
- Operating Temperature: Display: 32 to 122°F and Sensor: 32 to 185°F
- Repeatability: ±0.5% of measured value
- Flow velocity: 0.33 to 32.8 ft/sec
- Outputs: analog: one 4-20 mA; pulse: one volt-free normally open contact
- Power: 12 to 24 VAC/DC (order power supply separately)
- Dimensions: 10"L x 2"W x 3.5"H
