The Pyxis LS series non-contact ultrasonic transmitters provide innovative level measurement solutions where other liquid level sensors fail. They provide continuous level measurement up to 78 inches (6.6 ft) with multiple outputs. A unique design and powering options allows use virtually anywhere, including for both open and enclosed vessels. Analog outputs can be assigned to one of four parameters (level, distance, volume remaining, or volume consumed), with the integral 1.3" OLED display instantaneously indicating all of the same information in real time. Pushbuttons are included to cycle through valuable displayed data.

Two Power Supply Options Provide Flexibility! Externally power the transmitter using 24 VDC, and all output functions are available, including 4-20 mA analog signal output, RS485 and Bluetooth wireless digital output. Optionally field-power the unit using 4x AA standard alkaline batteries (included). This is particularly convenient to obtain level measurements when your application doesn't offer external power, or routing wiring is logistically not possible. You can even use battery-powered sensors as a portable device for quick-checks of liquid inventory by moving it from site-to-site with this completely wireless solution. Adjustable measuring rate intervals are user-programmable to assist with battery life; typical life is 6-9 months when rate set to one hour. Note: when using battery power, only the Bluetooth output is functional.

Configuration is performed quickly and easily via a wireless Bluetooth connection. Simply download the uPyxis® desktop PC software or smart device app for no additional charge at www.pyxis-lab.com. If you're using a desktop PC, a Bluetooth to USB adapter (stock # 53474) must be purchased separately. During operation, the powerful and intuitive software allows both historical and real-time continuous sensor data to be monitored. Log and email trend graphs or change parameters instantly!
