Use the Signet 2581 FlowtraMag flowmeter in applications where traditional metal magmeters are too heavy for the installation or lack the chemical compatibility you need. This full-bore in-line magnetic flowmeter features corrosion-resistant PVC construction (with NSF-certified titanium electrodes) and no moving parts to wear or foul—providing you with good chemical compatibility and long-term reliability. The FlowtraMag is up to three times lighter than metal magmeters, and offers ±1% accuracy even when installed in shorter pipe runs (minimum of 3 upstream and 2 downstream diameters).
The FlowtraMag has no integral push buttons or display to maintain security at the installed location. Instead, you configure and calibrate the FlowtraMag wirelessly or via a direct connection to your PC. For wireless setup from up to 20 feet away, use the GF Configuration Tool app on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet (free download from the App Store or Google Play™). Password-protected access lets you use the app to view current flow and temperature readings, graphing functions, diagnostic values, and re-ranging of outputs. To set up your FlowtraMag via a direct connection to your PC, purchase the 0252 Configuration Tool (stock # 10496, sold separately).
The FlowtraMag features integral LED indicators that show at-a-glance system status, including normal operation, errors, zero flow and partially filled pipe detection. It has a 25'L integral cable (separate from the power input cable) with both an analog 4-20 mA and a frequency/S3L output. Use the FlowtraMag as a standalone component, or wire its frequency/S3L output to an optional GF Signet controller for a local readout and additional outputs.
