The Ventis MX4 is a four-gas detector with the portability and size of a single-gas detector. It detects O₂, LEL (pentane), H₂S and CO. Audible, visual and vibrating alarms provide multiple clear warnings in high-noise, low-light conditions.
The easy-to-read LCD shows all gas readings and battery level, and provides calibration information and service alerts. Two-button operation is simple and intuitive.
High-impact polycarbonate housing with rubber overmold absorbs impact from accidental drops; units are available with orange or black overmold to simplify fleet management. (This unit features black overmold.) Add the optional slide-on pump (sold separately) to transition seamlessly from personal monitoring to confined space entry monitoring, eliminating the need for extra detectors.
The MX4 continuously logs alarm events, error events, and manual calibrations and bump tests, all with time and date stamps. It stores approximately 90 days of data for four-gas configurations; 90 days of data for four-gas configuration; up to 60 alarm events, 30 error events and 250 manual calibrations or bump tests. Download data manually via a USB port or automate downloads and access robust management tools with Ventis DSX or DSXi docking stations (sold separately).
