The Radius BZ1 area gas detector combines enhanced gas detection technology with exceptional flexibility. Use a single detector, or combine multiple units for applications including confined space, perimeter and fence line monitoring. Designed to go where the work is, the Radius BZ1 deploys in seconds for emergency situations, or provides long-term gas detection in the field, thanks to its rugged all-weather construction and seven-day battery life. Add optional extended-run power supply 332881 for over a month of power.
The 360° gas path and patented DualSense® technology (which uses two sensors per gas) ensure high accuracy. The alarm cuts through noisy environments, and features different tones and strobe colors that distinguish between gas vs. non-gas and critical vs. non-critical events. The extra-large 4.4" LCD lets you identify gases and alarms from a distance, including customizable alarm action messages like "EVACUATE" or "VENTILATE." Operation is simple with an intuitive three-button keypad.
The Radius BZ1 continuously logs alarm events, error events, and manual calibrations, all with time and date stamps. Download data automatically and perform important maintenance using the SafeCore™ DSXi docking station, sold separately.
