McCrometer's Dura Mag flowmeters make it convenient to get accurate flow measurements in tough, remote applications. They operate without AC power—this VDC-powered model operates with an integral battery backup. VDC-powered meters feature both pulse and 4-20 mA analog outputs.
All meters feature a buttonless display that eliminates accidental setting changes. To save power, the display remains off until the lid is opened and a light sensor triggers display operation. The large LCD screen shows alarms, totalizer and flow rates simultaneously. An integral datalogger stores several years of data—retrieve it on your laptop directly using a standard USB-to-mini USB cable (not included) and software (free download at mccrometer.com). The software and cable also let you set program parameters and make operational changes from your laptop. Adjust pulse output rates, flow and totalizer units, and more.
Durable epoxy-coated one-piece design eliminates the need for an internal liner. The integrated electronic LCD display/ProComm Go converter is secured with tamper-evident screws, and protected from weather and sun damage by a removable boot. Meters meet NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 approvals for use in all potable water installations.
Includes: grounding strap, display cover boot and 25'L pulse output cable. VDC-powered meters also include: 25'L cable for power connection and analog outputs. 24-VDC power supply not included; order stock # 74178 separately.
Note: Not for use in sludge and heavy wastewater applications. Other options are available, including AC-powered meters, different lay lengths, and remote-mounted displays. Contact Technical Support for more information.
Important Installation Recommendations: Wafer-style meters (2" and 3" models) are unflanged and set between a short flanged spread. Recommended installation for wafer meters is three upstream and one downstream diameters. Hardware is included (except flanges; purchase separately or use existing).
