Endress+Hauser Turbimax Turbidity/Suspended Solids Sensor, 0-300 g/L, 0-4k NTU, 10.68"L x 1.57"Dia with 49'L Cable, CUS51D-AAD1A4
Description
- Plug-and-play operation —automatically recognized by Endress+Hauser digital Memosens controllers
- Monitor suspended solids content in g/L, % or ppm
- Hardware available for immersion or inline flow-through mounting
Turbimax CUS51D Memosens digital sensors provide nephelometric measurement of turbidity and solids using the light-scattering method. They convert measured values to a digital interference-free signal compatible with any Endress+Hauser Memosens controller.
Memosens sensors store their own calibration data. Units come factory calibrated (basis formazine) for quick and easy startup. Just select your specific application via the setup menu. Routine one- to five-point calibration is simple using a liquid sample from your actual process. Rugged stainless steel construction ensures long life with minimal maintenance. Other than regular cleaning of sensor optical window, no routine part replacement or servicing is required.
This Turbimax turbidity/solids sensor is suitable for wastewater applications. Suspended solids range is 0 to 300 g/L. For process water applications, choose the Turbimax Turbidity Sensor (Low Range); stock # 10268.
Important Ordering Information: Choose from two mounting hardware configurations. Inline flow-through installations use an inline PVC flow cell (stock # 10270); not recommended for measurements <200 FNU. Immersion installations feature an immersion pipe assembly and rail-mount hardware. Immersion pipe assemblies are available in two styles: Direct immersion G1(F) (stock # 64165) or 3/4"NPT(F) (stock # 64163) connections or float ball attachment (stock # 64177) to keep sensor submerged below layers of foam and grease. Rail-mount hardware with pendulum holder (stock # 64203) attaches either assembly to a hand rail, and lets you move the sensor in and out of position.
Note: Compressed air sensor end attachments are available for automatic sensor cleaning. Contact USABlueBook for more information.
- Turbidity range/accuracy: 0 to 4000 FNU; <2% of reading or 0.1 FNU (whichever is greater)
- Solids range/accuracy: 0 to 300 g/L or 0 to 30%; <5% of reading or 1% full scale (whichever is greater), valid within calibrated measuring range
- Wetted materials: stainless steel, sapphire (optical window), EPDM O-Rings
- Temperature Compensation: -4 to 176°F (-20 to 80°C)
- Process connection: G1 and 3/4"NPT(M)
