NextStep stepper motor metering pumps deliver exceptional reliability, accuracy and repeatability in chemical distribution processes. They feature an advanced microprocessor-driven stepper motor that offers high resolution of 4800 steps, ensuring precise control over both discharge and suction strokes.
NextStep pumps offer a wide range of control options, including proportional control, constant output mode, and batch control—programmable via a user-friendly dial knob. The large multicolor backlit display shows pump status, making it easy to monitor and adjust settings. Additionally, the pumps support remote operation for seamless process management from a distance.
Pumps allow you to control capacity from 100% to 0.1%. Slow Mode ensures consistent metering of challenging chemicals, such as those that off-gas or have high viscosity. PPM Mode does the math for you—it adjusts pump output based on input from a water meter.

PPM Mode adjusts pump output based on water meter input
The NextStep pump features an innovative PPM Mode that removes the need for complicated dosage mathematics. PPM mode ensures a target Parts per Million (PPM) of chemicals in a process. It uses user-defined criteria: chemical solution strength, target PPM, and water meter output (gallons per pulse). The pump measures the water meter signal and adjusts its capacity to maintain the target PPM.

Use with aluminum sulfate (alum), calcium hydroxide, calcium hypochlorite, copper sulfate, ferric chloride, hydrochloric acid, 30% hydrogen peroxide, 65% nitric acid, 50% phosphoric acid, 0% potassium permanganate, sodium bisulfite, 12.5% sodium hypochlorite, 98.5% sulfuric acid. Call for compatibility with other chemicals. Wetted materials: PVDF head, Ceramic check balls, PTFE diaphragm and FKM seats/O-rings.
