AquaMetrix AM-FOG Portable FOG Level Analyzer, 48" Insertion Depth, 57.7"L, AM-FOG-48
Description
- Measures to 1" increment levels of FOG, water and air
- Save digital level readings, GPS location and other site info with free Android or iOS app
- Bluetooth™ Low Energy (BLE) connection is perfect for daily use even in remote locations
Digital FOG (fats, oils and grease) analyzers make level measurement in lift stations and grease interceptors a quick, accurate and clean process. These analyzers determine separation layers by sensing the electrical properties of the surrounding process medium. The result is a comprehensive measurement of the entire process medium, including FOG, water and air levels.
Capacitive technology measures the electrical properties when submerged in the process medium. Analyzer provides full measurements up to 2" surrounding the probe, even if the probe gains layered coatings. No sampling is required, so the operator stays clear of potential contamination.
Lightweight, reliable, portable—take anywhere you need it!
The AM-FOG analyzer features a one-piece design with the electronics, top housing and probe contained in a single unit. The probe is made of corrosion- and foul resistant materials, ensuring a long, reliable service life. No moving or replaceable parts minimizes maintenance and repairs.
All detailed readouts and interactions with the analyzer are recorded in the AM FOG app (free download from the Play Store or App Store) via a wireless Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection to your phone or tablet. See Operator's Note below for complete usage and app details.
Ordering Information
To order a level analyzer, determine the depth of the deepest vessel or interceptor to be measured. Order the model with equal or larger nominal length. Probes are available in nominal lengths up to 64" maximum (in increments of 8"). To access a vessel with a FOG layer below ground, extend your reach with an optional telescopic extension pole. It threads into a dedicated mounting point in the analyzer's top housing.
Level analyzers include: carrying case/calibration tube with detachable stand and probe wiper/squeegee.
Operating the AM-FOG Analyzer
The AM-FOG Analyzer requires a free Android/iOS app downloadable from the Play Store or App Store (you supply your own Bluetooth-enabled device).
To calibrate: Perform calibration weekly or as needed using two calibration points: one in water and one in air. Simply use the app to trigger the procedure. The included carrying case doubles as a water vessel. To complete the water portion of the procedure, fill it with clean water and set the probe inside. To complete the air portion, remove the probe and allow it to hang freely in open air. The entire process takes about four minutes.
To measure: The app's measurement screen displays a color-coded representation of a tank/interceptor. Light blue stands for the air layer, orange for the FOG layer, and dark blue for the water layer. To take a measurement, submerge the probe in the process medium for approximately one minute. The app's graphic will update with real-time level data. Digital level readings can be saved with GPS location and site information for file export.
Other app features: The app's interface shows battery life, temperature value and percentage value of the vessel for FOG and water. The app also displays an alarm indicator when FOG levels are =25% of the overall vessel volume.
- Detection: separation layers and level of FOG, water and air
