The TORNADO family of surface aerators delivers excellent oxygen transfer and high mixing efficiency to a wide range of treatment processes. Their rugged construction and efficient design maximize treatment performance while minimizing energy consumption.
AquaTORNADO Aerators meet aeration and mixing requirements for freshwater applications. Use them to increase dissolved oxygen levels, provide needed circulation, and maintain aerobic conditions throughout your water column.
Units are float mounted on the water's surface. They provide high-velocity air injection at the propeller hub, creating turbulence that mixes, breaks up air bubbles and disperses oxygen over a wide area. The resulting horizontal water movement greatly limits algae growth while stimulating decomposition of organic wastes and runoff nutrients from surrounding green areas.
Includes: a polyethylene float system and your choice of 115/230V 1-phase or 230/460V 3-phase motor (specify when placing order).
