FLEX-PRO metering pumps feature a variable-speed DC motor for consistent chemical feed without mechanical starting and stopping. The innovative Tube Failure Detection (TFD) system eliminates the risk of running the pump motor if the pump tube leaks. If leaked chemical is detected inside the pump head, the pump stops and its programmable alarm relay closes; allowing for remote alarm indication or initiation of a back-up pump. All pumps feature a NEMA 4X (IP66) wash-down enclosure constructed from chemical-resistant powder-coated aluminum. FLEX-PRO A2 metering pumps feature a user-friendly keypad and backlit LCD display that shows motor speed, and service and alarm status. This model features manual control. Use with aluminum sulfate (alum), ammonium chloride, ammonium hydroxide, ammonium sulfate, 20% calcium hypochlorite, chloramines, 33% hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate, sodium bisulfate, 50% sodium hydroxide (caustic), 12.5% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) and sulfuric acid up to 50%. Call for compatibility with other chemicals. Wetted materials: Flex-A-Prene (also known as Tygon or Norprene) pump tube with PVDF adapter fittings, PVC suction tubing, polyethylene (LLDPE) discharge tubing, polypropylene suction strainer, PVDF injection check valve, ceramic check ball, Hastelloy C-276 spring and FKM O-rings.
