FLEXFLO metering pumps feature a variable-speed DC motor for consistent chemical feed without mechanical starting and stopping. The innovative Tube Failure Detection (TFD) system eliminates the risk of running the pump motor if the pump tube leaks. If leaked chemical is detected inside the pump head, the pump stops and its programmable alarm relay closes; allowing for remote alarm indication or initiation of a back-up pump. All pumps feature a NEMA 4X (IP66) wash-down enclosure constructed from chemical-resistant powder-coated aluminum.
A3 metering pumps feature a user-friendly full color touchscreen that displays pump output speed, control mode and alarm status. Control pump output manually or with 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC, pulse signals, or process automation protocols (Modbus, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP). A 30 VDC contact closure for remote start/stop is also included. Three 30 VDC or 115 VAC contact closures are assignable to monitor TFD system, Flow Verification Sensor (FVS) system, motor on, or operating mode error. The display also shows input signal values and units. Pumps feed rates up to 110 gpd.
Pumps include: two pump tubes, PVDF injection fitting, 10-ft roll each of 3/8" OD suction and discharge tubing, suction strainer and 2-year warranty.
Note: A3 pumps have six total M12 connection ports and an Ethernet port on the rear. M12 connector cables (stock # 351755, sold separately in pairs of two) are required for wiring of all input and output types excluding Ethernet/IP.
Chemical compatibility: use with polymers. Call for compatibility with other chemicals.
Wetted materials: Flex-A-Thane (also known as Versilon or Tygothane) pump tube with PVDF adapter fittings, PVC suction tubing, polyethylene (LLDPE discharge tubing, polypropylene suction strainer, PVDF injection check valve, ceramic check ball, Hastelloy C-276 spring and FKM O-rings.
