The base features rustproof, zinc-plated carbon steel construction. The rod is made of rigid, Sunguard II™ UV inhibitor-coated 3/8" fiberglass with highly visible reflective 3M Scotchlite™ tape—makes it easy to find hydrants in areas with snow, tall grass and foliage.
