Seametrics® Insertion Electromagnetic Hot Tap Flowmeter (Brass with Bronze Ball Valve), 3 to 10" Pipe, EX150B
Description
- No moving parts to wear out or jam
- Measure flow of clean or dirty water
Measure flow rates of clean water, turbid water and water with suspended solids. The liquid must have a minimum conductivity of 20 µS/cm. No moving parts such as rotors or turbines to jam or wear out. These sensors use the principle of Faraday's Law. A rapidly reversing magnetic field is produced in the lower housing, and as the fluid moves through this field a voltage is generated that is proportional to the flow rate. Use with SeaMetrics FT420 flow monitor/totalizers to display flow rate and total.
Includes: a 2" NPT(M) isolation valve for hot-tap applications or installation and removal under pressure.
Note: Order service saddle, flow monitor/totalizer and power supply separately. Bi-directional versions are available as special order. Contact USABlueBook for more information.
Per the Federal Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act – this item cannot be used in potable (drinking) water applications
- Accuracy: 1% of full scale
- Fluid velocity range: 0.2 to 20 fps
- Output: square wave pulse, opto isolated
- Materials: Brass (body); Bronze (isolation valve); Hastelloy (electrode); PVDF (electrode plate)
- Maximum pressure: 200 psi; Operating conditions: 32 to 200°F (fluid)
