Description
- Two programmable SPDT relays for staged shutoff
- Can drive externally paced chemical metering pumps
The FT520 combines the best features of a flow monitor/totalizer with easy-to-use batching. Batch output is controlled by two relays. The main relay starts and stops the batch as a set. The auxiliary “prewarn” relay can be used to operate a second valve in order to have a staged shut off at the end of the batch for maximum accuracy.
The FT520 also includes a scaleable pulse output that can be used for flow logging or to trigger an externally paced chemical metering pump. A 4-20 mA output can be sent to a chart recorder or SCADA system for flow recording. Electronics are sealed in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure that includes hardware for mounting on either the wall or a sensor.
Note: The FT520 accepts all SeaMetrics flow sensor outputs EXCEPT for battery-powered sensors.
