Hach FL902 Flow Logger with Inactivated Cellular Modem, Verizon, 2 Inputs, FL902.97.UX
Description
- Log I & I and CSO data long-term on just battery power
- Universal input accepts multiple types of Hach open-channel flow sensors
- Rugged construction withstands installation in manholes and sewers
Reduce monitoring costs, increase efficiency and collect reliable data 24/7 with this innovative flow logger. Use it for short- or long-term open-channel flow monitoring studies, such as inflow and infiltration (I & I), combined sewer overflow (CSO), capacity planning and stormwater runoff monitoring. Its long battery life (up to 306 days) and rugged IP68 housing mean you can install it wherever you want—including manholes and sewers.
To set up your logger, simply download the free FSDATA® Desktop Instrument Manager software from hach.com/flow. Then, connect your logger to a laptop or PC to run through a series of intuitive setup options. You can readily define logging intervals that balance greater data resolution during high-flow periods with battery/data volume conservation during low-flow seasons. Physical installation involves simple wall-mount or ladder-rung suspension (mounting hardware and accessories sold separately).
Logger features two plug-and-play ports that accept direct connection of two sensors, including the FLO-DAR® AV, and Down-Looking and In-Pipe ultrasonic sensors. You can also connect a Hach SubAV sensor by equipping your logger with an AV9000 analyzer module (stock # 13189).
In addition to the sensor ports, logger features an auxiliary port for connection to a power source or for communication with Hach AS950 or third-party autosamplers (requires cable, sold separately). Enclosure is rated NEMA 6P/IP68.
Unit logs and stores up to 325,000 data points for your selected flow events and/or sample events. These wireless-enabled flow loggers can send you alarms via email or text messaging to alert you to flow or low-power events at your monitoring sites. Up to 16 types of alarms are available, including flow (high/high, high, low, low/lo, system (low battery, low memory, full memory, sensor timeout/error) and actions (send email, send SMS text message, change call interval [requires active wireless service], trigger sampler, change logging interval).
Wireless-enabled FL900 flow loggers can send you alarms via email or text messaging to alert you to flow or low-power events at your monitoring sites. You can also securely access your flow data and wireless logger 24/7 from any internet browser with Hach's FSDATA Online Data Manager software—no need for site visits to collect data or adjust settings. Maximize uptime even more by setting alarms and viewing sensor diagnostics remotely.
Begin by selecting the FL900 flow logger that matches the wireless service carrier in your area (GSM or Verizon). Next, purchase an antenna to maximize cellular reception in the field. Then contact your carrier to activate your cellular plan (separate fees will apply) and install a SIM card in the logger. Finally, contact USABlueBook to assist with your subscription service plan for use with FSDATA Online. Data is now ready to be sent!
