Use these rugged valve wing locks/protectors for optimal security of wing-style water service valves. They feature cast case-hardened steel construction with corrosion-resistant plating for superior durability over comparable sheet metal products. Once in place, the lock, valve stem and valve wing are completely covered, making them impervious to hammer blows, sawing, pry bars and peeling.
Note: A barrel lock (sold separately) is required for installation. The barrel lock is secured inside the lock/protector's lock receptacle, locking out the service valve, while also protecting its lock and wing. Both #6 and Paladin style barrel locks are compatible.
