Hach's universal sc1000 controllers offer complete multi-parameter control. Use them with any Hach digital probe, or third party sensor via the systems' 4-20 mA inputs. Supported parameters include dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, conductivity, turbidity, suspended solids, nitrate, chlorine, ammonia, phosphate and more! Systems allow easy expansion to accommodate your changing operational needs—just add or change your inputs and outputs as needed.
Modular design offers true plug-and-play operation. Probe modules provide power to the system, along with input and output connections. Each module accept up to 8 digital probes or expansion boards (varies by model). Add more relays and analog inputs/outputs by networking additional probe modules or DIN-rail expansion modules (mount externally). Each network accepts a maximum of 32 devices.
Controllers provide internal data and event logging based on user-configurable intervals. How you retrieve that information is up to you. For web-based communication, choose a display module (sold separately) with Ethernet cable communication (Modbus TCP/IP) and/or wireless communication (GSM/GPAS cellular modem). SMS (text) messages and emails can be sent in the case of alarms and system warnings. For local network communication, choose a probe module with your required communication capabilities to incorporate measurements into your plant's SCADA system or PLC. Probe modules can be upgraded with optional internal expansion accessories. If needed, data can also be transferred to your computer using a basic SD card (sold separately).
