Hach US9000 series ultrasonic sensors bring independent level measuring capabilities to Hach FL1500 flow meters. These state-of-the-art ultrasonic sensors are excellent noncontact flow monitoring solutions to use for both level measurement and alarming, or as redundant level measurement when used in conjunction with other sensors. Flexible installation and a variety of design options make these sensors ideal for wastewater, collection systems and industrial water flow level applications.
The US9003 In-Pipe Ultrasonic Sensor offers an intelligent approach to collecting flow level data in tight open channels while greatly reducing this non-contact sensor's chances of fouling. It mounts parallel to the flow surface and contains an engineered 45° reflector inside its enclosure. This design effectively eliminates inherent ultrasonic deadband while accurately measuring in near-full pipe conditions. Optional spring- and scissor-style mounting bands compress inside pipe walls and provide easy sensor mounting above the liquid; they also contain brackets for mounting optional redundant velocity sensors, like the SubAV and Flo-Tote3.
Includes: angled reflector body, 30'L cable with bare wire ends for FL1500. For a complete system, order a US9003 sensor, mounting hardware, and flow logger/meter.
