Hercules Shutout seals and lubricates manhole covers to reduce inflow. It’s a safe, jobsite-ready solution compatible with most manhole installations. Shutout creates a water barrier between surfaces, reducing the likelihood of corrosion, and lubricating the manhole cover to allow for easier and safer removal.
Shutout is easily applied to wet and dry surfaces at temperatures from 30 to 150°F with minimal surface preparation. Monitor inflow and reapply as needed.
Note: Shutout is not compatible with Revolution® manhole access assemblies and some T-gasket manhole installations. Caulking gun is required for use (sold separately, stock # 78718).
