Keep vent tube moisture from shorting out the electronics in your submersible transmitters. These enclosures allow for safe termination of vented transmitter cable in an NEMA 4X polycarbonate box. Removable enclosure lid has a neoprene seal; it's clear so you can see inside. Enclosure also works great as a junction box for splicing expensive vented cable to inexpensive signal wire for long runs. Measures 7.9"W x 4.7"H x 3.5"D. Enclosures contain a aneroid bellows to provide moisture protection.
Aneroid bellows are alternative vent tube termination devices which create a closed reference pressure system, great for acting as moisture protection. They respond to changes in atmospheric pressure and require no periodic maintenance. Bellows are suitable for use with all submersible Keller transducers. Not recommended for use where accuracy requirements are ±0.25% FS or better, or transmitters with ranges of < 2 psi.
Includes: 12-conductor terminal strip (6 pairs), mounting screws and two installed cable glands.
