For over 150 years, the Kupferle Foundry Company has been making quality products for the waterworks industry. Their Eclipse line of automatic flushing hydrants is an industry standard. Automatic flushing cycles use up to 50% less water than manual flushing, and significantly reduce your labor time. These devices help improve and maintain chlorine residual levels, and flush disinfectant byproducts so your water stays fresh and safe.
Eclipse hydrants are simple to program. They allow up to 9 flushing cycles per day at up to four hours of flush time per cycle (for a total maximum of 24 hours). They operate on one 9 volt battery that lasts up to 1 year or 500 flushes.
The 9400 series hydrants are easy to permanently install on a main waterline. They are fully serviceable from above ground—no digging! The all-climate version has a 3' standard bury depth and is self draining/non-freezing. Order additional bury depths, dechlorination baskets or debris flushing pipes as needed; sold separately. For added ease of use, this flushing hydrant includes a Bluetooth controller. The Bluetooth kit features a programmable app (free download) with the ability to add multiple automatic flushing stations. You can program multiple flushing schedules or perform a single manual flush right from your phone or tablet with a range of up to 40 feet! The Bluetooth kit includes a Bluetooth controller, solenoid, mounting hardware and instructions.
Includes: UV-resistant cover and ground base, double valve, all-brass sampling point, solenoid valve and self-contained digital controller.
