Vantageview process display meters feature an easy-to-read rotatable backlit display. Their wide 80° viewing arc is nearly twice that of competitive models. Meters accept an analog input signal, making them a great choice for any sensor including level, pressure, conductivity, turbidity, pH or any other 4-20 mA signal. The NEMA 4X enclosure is ideal for wet, dirty environments. Choose from two models.
The basic PD6770 Vantageview meter is an indicator-only model with a large, single-line display. Program it using four easy-to-access front-mounted dials, with no complex programming menus. Display reads from -1999 to 1999 over a 2000-count user-adjustable scaling span.
The advanced PD6700 Vantageview meter features four SafeTouch® sensors that operate as through-window buttons—program and operate your meter without removing the cover (and exposing the electronics). These buttons can also be disabled for security. Password protection keeps unwanted programming changes from occurring.
The PD6700 also features live input scaling, which can be used in lieu of standard 4-20 mA value input scaling. It's performed with a precision signal source at any two points along the scale, and allows an operator to set a "best fit straight line" for nonlinear input spans. Programmable math functions include a square root extraction function that displays flow rate from a differential pressure transmitter signal. Programmable exponent and 32-point linearization functions linearize the level signal and convert to flow when used in open channel flow applications using weirs or flumes.
Both models mount at 0, 90, 180 or 270° to either wall (using the integral flanges) or pipe (optional pipe mounting kit stock # 13212 required). Vantageview models designed for flowmeter rate & totalizing are also available.
