Dwyer's PBLT2 and PBLTX submersible level transmitters are manufactured for years of trouble-free service in the harshest conditions. They measure the height of liquid above the position in the tank referenced to atmospheric pressure—perfect for applications including wastewater, slurries, sludge pits, storage tanks and reservoirs. The large-diameter, 316-SS diaphragm seal is non-clogging and resists damage from floating solids.
Choose from two models. The PBLT2 incorporates lightning and surge protection using dual arrestor technology, grounded to case, to eliminate both power supply surges and lightning ground strike transients*. The PBLTX is UL-approved intrinsically safe for use in hazardous locations when used with a proper barrier (order stock # 17702 separately).
A ventilation tube in the cable automatically compensates for changes in atmospheric pressure above the tank. A maintenance-free filter protects the vent, so particulates or water cannot enter the transmitter. Transmitters have a 1/2" NPT(M) conduit connection.
