The Greyline PSL 5.0 controller sets a whole new level for reliability. It's designed for the harsh operating conditions in pump stations‚ wet wells and tanks. This controller has six independently programmable control relays for pump or valve control‚ level alarms‚ autodialers‚ temperature alarms and sensor echo-loss alarms. Connect the isolated 4-20 mA output to your SCADA system‚ PLC or recorder.
The simple menu system and keypad let you easily set up measurement ranges‚ relay set points and pump alternation sequences. View measurements and status reports on the backlit LCD display. The controller logs‚ reports and displays relay run times for pump performance evaluation‚ so you can schedule preventative maintenance times. Controller with optional data logger stores up to 20-million data points‚ and has an output to a USB flash drive.
The PSL 5.0 uses a dependable non-contacting ultrasonic sensor as its primary sensor. Mount it at the top of a tank or above a wet well‚ and install the watertight electronics unit in any location within 500 feet.
As a fail-safe precaution‚ the controller also accepts a redundant signal from any level or pressure sensor with 4-20 mA output. If the ultrasonic sensor loses signal from the water surface because of foam or other reasons‚ the redundant sensor instantly takes over monitoring until signal is regained from the primary sensor. The controller auto-calibrates and continuously monitors the redundant sensor to ensure its availability.
Note: Redundant (backup) sensor is not included; purchase separately or use your current radar or submersible level sensor.
