- Petroleum base & synthetic
For optimal performance and equipment life, use ChampLub or ChampLub Synthetic FG in your Champion reciprocating compressor. ChampLub Synthetic FG oil is preferred for high pressure and continuous run applications because carbon buildup on the valves is greatly reduced, extending valve life.
Synthetic FG has a pour point of -55°F, which is desirable for compressors located outdoors in cold climates. Synthetic FG meets USDA requirements as an H1 lubricant for incidental food contact and is a better choice for compressors supplying air to hydropneumatic tanks in potable water systems.
