Megatron® M150 UV Disinfection System Automatic Wiper, 120V, 24-1514A1
Description
- Built-in GUARDIAN® Digital UV monitor and Promate™ Elapsed Time indicator
- 316 stainless steel construction
Ultraviolet water purifiers offer rapid water treatment without the use of heat or dangerous chemicals, often for the lowest cost available by any means.
Unit features Surelite™ electronic ballasts, manual wiper system, sight port, Crystal Clear™ quartz sleeves, remote outputs, 4-20 mA, dry contacts, lamp operation indicator, digital GUARDIAN™ UV monitor, sampling ports, ultraviolet sensor probe and Ster-L-Ray UV lamps.
Ordinary maintenance of these units includes periodic cleaning of the quartz sleeve. Lamp replacement is recommended every 10,000 hours of operation (approximately 14 months of continuous operation). This MEGATRON® includes 12 Ster-L-Ray® UV lamps. We recommend that you keep a spare replacement lamp or two for emergencies. Units are 120 VAC, 60 Hz. Alternate voltages are available; contact USABlueBook for details.
Note: Since ultraviolet disinfection is based on the transmittance of UV light and absorbance of that light by the organisms, it is recommended that the incoming water be filtered to ensure clarity. Also, we highly recommend that you contact your local permit-monitoring agency prior to purchasing a UV system. UV disinfection is not an approved disinfection method in some areas.
- Materials: 316 stainless steel disinfection chamber; 304 stainless steel NEMA-style enclosure
- Inlet/outlet: 4" 150# socket weld flange
- Max flow: 325 gpm (High Purity Water), 270 gpm (Clear Fresh Water) or 200 gpm (Clear Wastewater)
