The Miller complete confined space entry and rescue system offers everything you need in one economical, convenient package. This system features easy lifting and lowering with a 5:1 gear ratio. An anti-backlash crank handle braking system prevents dangerous free-wheeling. System uses quality matched components that are also available separately.
7' tripod features a high strength cast-aluminum head with spring-loaded locking levers and two drop-forged plated steel anchorage eyebolts that withstand up to 5000 lbs. It has adjustable extruded aluminum legs with formed steel swivel feet, non-slip grip pads and toothed lips. The manually-operated ManHandler® hoist/winch features a 65' galvanized cable that can be used for raising or lowering personnel into confined spaces.
MightEvac® self-retracting lifeline offers a 5-mm (3/16") stainless steel aircraft cable that automatically extends and retracts as the worker moves. A slight constant tension on the lifeline applied by an internal coil spring eliminates the potential for slack (free fall) to be introduced into the system. Should a fall or stumble occur, the centrifugal brake system arrests the fall with a cushioning effect.
Kit includes: 7' tripod, Manhandler hoist/winch, MightEvac self-retracting lifeline, pulley, carabiner and two heavy duty equipment bags.
