OPEN BOX ITEM: Valve features a bar handle instead of a pull ring for testing. Preset to 5 psi.
The Kunkle 337 pressure relief valve is specifically recommended for WWTP blower service. Its large nozzle provides high flow capacity, and it is designed to open at a precise, preset pressure with minimum pre-open leakage. Cast iron body has brass internals and a brass male threaded connection. A pivot between the disc and spring corrects misalignment and compensates for side thrust. Flat bronze valve seats are lapped for optimum performance, and the valve is equipped with a pull-ring for testing.
Note: All valves are set and tested to your exact pressure specifications (from 1 to 60 psi). Set at least 5 psi or 10% above system pressure (whichever is greater), to prevent seat leakage and avoid premature maintenance.
