The Magna-Trak 100 series locators feature a waterproof, 20" long aluminum probe. They operate for about 100 hours of intermittent use on 6 AA batteries.
The top-of-the-line Magna-Trak 102 features a powerful speaker with volume control that provides an audio response. Sensitivity control gives a full range of depth capabilities. It also features a display that helps identify the target even in noisy conditions where the audio tone may be difficult to hear. The numeric digital bar graph LCD displays peaks over object and features a low battery indicator.
The 102 also has a push-button "erase" feature and power line indicator for greater flexibility and enhanced performance. When a disturbance such as a metal fence, is confronted, simply press the "erase" button and it is electronically erased for continued searching without interference. There's no need to reduce the sensitivity; the Magna-Trak 102 always returns to perfect magnetic balance when the "erase" button is pressed. The Magna-Trak 102 also has a power line indicator that indicates the presence of power lines during a normal magnetic search. (This feature is an aid only and is not intended for locating buried power lines.)
Includes: a soft carrying case, six AA batteries and a 5-year warranty.
