Swiftee Service Line Thawing Unit

Use the Swiftee thawing unit to restore service to frozen lines up to 2" in diameter. It pumps the hottest water you can supply to it, but is powerful enough to thaw pipes even when using cold water! The positive displacement gear pump provides pressures as high as 150 psi. This creates a thin stream of water from the end of flexible 5/16" nylon tubing using as little as 1.5 gallons of water per minute.
You can perform thawing without turning off the curb stop, thanks to the Swiftee's unique RP pressure fitting. It lets the flexible tubing pass through, while still permitting excess water from the thawing process to drain back out of the line. You can easily re-circulate the water to a suction pail or nearby drain source. Once thawed, the on-rush of water is diverted out the side of the RP fitting without damaging the area (or drenching the operator).
Pump comes mounted on a corrosion-resistant platform with a wraparound steel frame. Requires 120 VAC power source.
Includes: adjustable relief valve, pressure gauge, 150'L roll of 5/16" nylon tubing, RP pressure fitting kit, suction hose and instruction manual.
