Wedge Grip 2" Sq. Socket 1-1/4" ID Round Connector

- Grips badly worn 2" square nuts
This unique gate wrench socket incorporates sliding chisel-point wedges positioned on two opposing sides of the socket. As the tool is lowered, the wedges are the first surfaces to contact opposing sides of the valve nut.
If the nut is undersized, the wedges squeeze between valve nut and inside of socket, providing a press fit. If the nut is not undersized, the wedges are simply pushed upward out of the way as the socket is lowered over the nut.
Socket features a 1-3/8"-ID connection and 3/8" Grade 5 bolt with self-locking nut. Use with our modular valve box key.
