Portable Eyewash/Drench Hose 15 Gallon
Description
- Ideal when a continuous supply of potable water in not available
- Effective rinsing of the eyes, face and body
- Runs for 15 minutes
For the first time ever, the word keg is synonymous with safety! This keg-style portable unit dispenses approximately 10 gallons of water through its eyewash station or drench hose. Use it for rinsing eyes, face and body in areas where plumbed-in water is not available.
The fixed-position eyewash station rinses eyes and face with two gentle spray heads. Heads are mounted on chrome-plated brass supply arms and feature flip-top dust covers. Activate the station using the stay-open ball valve with flag handle for 0.65 gpm of flow for 15 minutes. The 6' reinforced-PVC hose has a single spray head and is activated by a squeeze valve. It rinses any part of the face or body, regardless of the victim's position.
The keg-style stainless steel tank provides greater durability, easier handling and improved stability over other comparable tanks. It features built-in carrying handles, an air intake valve, pressure gauge and automatic pressure relief valve.
Includes: an 8-oz bottle of bacteriostatic additive to protect against growth of bacteria, fungus and other impurities in the tank.
Note: Under ANSI Z358.1-2004, drench hose units supplement but do not replace other types of emergency equipment. Units should be inspected regularly and the water should be changed at least once every six months.
