    LumenAER solar-powered Circulator/Mixers provide an environmentally friendly solution for controlling algae-related issues in water and wastewater applications. By effectively circulating your system’s water you’ll bring bottom water with low oxygen content up to the surface increasing oxygen and improving overall water quality. Rugged all stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance in most applications and an anti-icing feature allows operation in cold climates -40°F.

    All LumenAER circulators obtain their energy from the sun. Using solar panels and special controls they convert solar radiation into electricity that drives and operates all onboard systems. The heart of the LumenAER Circulator/Mixer is a slowly rotating impeller inside an intake and discharge assembly. When the Circulator/Mixer is operating large volumes of low oxygen water from the intake below the surface move vertically through the unit to discharge over the dish at the surface. Water exits the dish as a thin sheet for exposure to the atmosphere where nearly instantaneous oxygen diffusion into the water can occur.

    Choose from 3 solar-powered setups. SS series Circulator/Mixers are 100% solar powered. They use three 55-watt panels to power a 15-VDC brush motor providing solar-powered operation from sunup to sundown.

    SE series Circulator/Mixers are solar powered with an electric backup. They feature a 24-VDC brushless motor that automatically switches from solar power to grid energy making them ideal for applications requiring 24/7 operation. Use them on their own or with other electric Circulator/Mixers to reduce energy costs; they consume less grid energy than a 50-watt light bulb!

    SB series Circulator/Mixers are solar powered with a battery backup. They use three 123-watt solar panels and two 12-VDC batteries to collectively power their 24-VDC brushless motor. Use them for applications requiring 24/7 operation where grid power is not available.
