Turbimax CUS71D digital interface sensors provide constant ultrasonic measurements in water and wastewater applications. Measured values are converted to digital interference-free signals compatible with any Endress+Hauser Memosens controller. Use in primary and secondary clarifiers, and in thickener applications for controlling sludge blankets. They also work in potable water applications such as settling basin flocculant monitoring and filter media expansion to optimize backwash operations and improve process efficiency. IP68 Rated.

Sensors store their own calibration data. They come factory calibrated for quick and easy startup. Sensors transmit 657 kHz ultrasonic waves at an angle of 6° to constantly scan for solid particles within separation zones.

Sensors with motorized wipers help prevent film formation on the sensor face. They're well suited for fouling conditions found in wastewater applications. Choose from two mounting configurations; both consist of a specialized immersion pipe assembly and corresponding rail mount hardware (each sold separately). General immersion installations offer a rigid process entry point. See stock # 64165 (with G1(F) Adapter); stock # 64163 (with 3/4" NPT(F) Adapter) or stock # 64177 (with G1(F) and 45° Adapters). All require purchase of 64203 Rail-Mount Hardware.

Chain suspension immersion installations offer a straight 90° process entry point. Handrail clamp with boom extension arm ensures ultrasonic signals are the proper distance from the wall or obstructive surfaces. Order both 33361 Immersion Assembly and 33473 Rail-Mount Hardware.
