The Model 102 water level meter offers a rugged, economical choice for measuring groundwater levels in small diameter tubes. A narrow probe is attached to a coaxial cable and fitted on a sturdy, ergonomically designed reel. Markings at 1/100' intervals are laser marked to the cable.
When the probe enters water, an electrical circuit is completed and sends a signal back to the reel, which activates a light and an audible buzzer. To determine the water level, simply take a reading directly from the cable at the top of the well casing when the signal activates. The sensitivity control lets you scale back or turn off the buzzer when used in cascading water, and ensures a clear signal in both high and low conductivity conditions. Meter is powered by a standard 9V battery (included) housed in an easy-access battery drawer.
P4 probes feature stainless steel construction, making them acceptable for use in potable water systems. They're ideal for use in narrower diameter applications. They measure 5/32"Dia x 1-1/2"L, and weigh 0.35 oz; probes are unweighted.
