Use the SITRANS Probe LU240 ultrasonic level transmitter with HART to measure level in the water and wastewater industry, chemical storage tanks, filter beds, and many other general applications. It provides level, volume, and volumetric flow measurements up to 39 feet (12m) of liquids, slurries, and bulk materials. Rugged IP68/NEMA 4X enclosure allows for both indoor and outdoor use. Easy wiring connections with 2-wire loop powered/4-20 mA output with HART 7 protocol. Approvals: NEMA 4X, 6 / IP66, IP68.

The PVDF transducer sensor provides good chemical resistance to most field conditions (optional ETFE also available). Siemens' highly reliable Process Intelligence and Auto False Echo Suppression smart feature differentiates between true process readings and false echoes from obstructions, such as ladder rungs, pumps or agitator blades in motion. A highly accurate integral temperature sensor compensates for fluctuating process temperatures.

Installation is simple with a 2" NPT(M) connection for vertical operation. Setup and programming are quick and easy using the integral LCD display and four-button keypad.

Includes: solid opaque thread-on lid. Order the optional transparent lid for visual access to the display without opening the unit's lid.
