Griffco back pressure valves affordably enhance the overall performance of chemical feed systems. They apply continuous backpressure to the chemical feed pump and act as an antisiphon valve to improve the operation and accuracy of metering pumps.
Valves feature a pressure gauge for easy sight checks of system pressure. An integrated instrument isolator protects gauges from corrosive chemicals. Gauges feature brass construction and a pressure range of 0 to 160 psi.
Valves come preset at 50 psi with adjustable maximum pressure settings. For best performance, install as close to the injection point as possible, and set the valve 15 psi greater than your system pressure.
Valves are suitable for use with: aluminum sulfate (alum), ammonium chloride, ammonium hydroxide, ammonium sulfate, calcium hypochlorite, ferric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, magnesium hydroxide, potassium permanganate, sodium bisulfate, sodium hypochlorite, sodium phosphate and 95% sulfuric acid. Call for compatibility with other chemicals. Wetted materials: PVC body, PTFE/EPDM diaphragm.
