KC series safety isolators offer the same signal integrity that you expect from Pepperl + Fuchs, but in a smaller footprint. Their modern circuit design allows a compact housing that’s 38% smaller than traditional safety isolators. Their reduced power dissipation keeps the cabinet cooler and ensures longer life. All KC series isolators offer galvanic isolation. All models are available in either standard or intrinsically safe versions. SMART current drivers offer analog outputs and act as an isolation barrier for SMART I/P converters, electrical valves and positioners. Current transferred over the DC/DC converter is repeated at terminals 1 and 2. An open field circuit presents a high input impedance to the control side to allow lead breakage monitoring by control system. Drivers also support HART applications.
