KC series safety isolators offer the same signal integrity that you expect from Pepperl + Fuchs, but in a smaller footprint. Their modern circuit design allows a compact housing that’s 38% smaller than traditional safety isolators. Their reduced power dissipation keeps the cabinet cooler and ensures longer life. All KC series isolators offer galvanic isolation. All models are available in either standard or intrinsically safe versions. Solenoid drivers offer discrete outputs to supply power for solenoids, LEDs and audible alarms. They are loop-powered, so the available energy at the output is received from the input signal. The output signal has a resistive characteristic. As a result, the output voltage and current are dependent on the load and the input voltage.
