First Response™ Leak Repair Kit stops leaks in metal or plastic pipe, reinforces joints, and forms an anti-corrosion coating. It provides everything in one box for maintenance and safety teams to quickly respond to most common leaks, cracks, and gashes in pipes, tanks and drums.
The kit features the Stop-It pipe repair system. Stop-It is a fiberglass adhesive tape coated with polyurethane resins that are activated by immersion in water. Once activated, the tape transforms to a hard, machineable urethane plastic. The other part of the system is Fix Stix™, a ready-to-use, NSF-approved hand-moldable epoxy. Use Fix Stix to plug leaks, fill holes and cracks, and provide a smooth transition at offsets before applying Stop-It tape. Fix Stix sets in 20 minutes in a wide range of temperatures.
Kit includes: small, medium and large Stop-It pipe repair tape, five 2.8-oz plugs of Fix Stix epoxy, 18 assorted wooden plugs, a rubber hammer, bentonite clay putty (two Plug-N-Dike® Plug Rugs & three Plug Patties), lead wool fiber pack, hot/cold hose repair tape, instructional CD and carrying case.
