Insta-Flanges are a standard pipe flange combined with a mechanical joint fitting. Use them to quickly and easily install flanged fittings on ductile iron or steel pipe. Uses include installation of a new flanged valve or tee in a pipe line, and installing a meter or fitting that is a different laying length than the original. When the installation is completed, the set screws are tightened to prevent the fittings from rotating or slipping.
Note: Not recommended for PVC/C900 pipe.
