- Smooth out flow traveling through flow measuring devices
- Reduce hydraulic shock and pressure surges in chemical feed lines
We recommend using a pulsation dampener on the discharge side of your mechanically driven chemical feed pump in addition to pressure relief and back- pressure valves. The natural pulsating action of these pumps is enough to rupture a pipe, fitting, or valve— leading to potential disaster. With a dampener in place, chemical flow is smooth and constant. For smoothest flow readings, install as close as possible to the pump and before your flow meter. The only moving part in the pulsation dampener is the bladder, which provides a cushion to absorb intense pressure changes. We’re offering several models based on material, maximum flow rates and maximum pressures. All inlet connections are NPT. Recommended for caustic applications.
Tech Specs:
- PSI: 150
- Max GPH: 115
