Description

Product Details
  • RDO technology is unaffected by common interferences
  • Sensor operates as a standalone loop-powered transmitter
  • No membranes or electrolyte to replace

In-Situ's RDOX (Rugged Dissolved Oxygen) DO sensor uses the latest optical technology for measuring oxygen in your process. Corrosion-resistant sensor is inert to common interferences found in water and wastewater plants, such as hydrogen sulfide, chloride, chlorine and ammonium. Maintenance is easy! There are no fragile membranes or electrolyte solutions to replace—simply replace the sensor cap every two years.

Power sensor through an optional controller or save on equipment costs by operating as a standalone loop-powered device. The 3-wire 4-20 mA transmitter output signal interfaces with external devices such as PLCs, variable frequency drives and chart recorders. Sensor is CE and FCC Class A heavy industry immunity and emissions certified. This means it won't interfere with other nearby devices—and those other devices won't interfere with it, either.

Includes: sensor cap, 33'L detachable cable, calibration/storage sleeve and manual. 3-year sensor warranty; 2-year cap warranty (1 year from date of installation).

Additional items are required for a complete RDOX sensor system.

To use sensor in a complete DO system, order:
1. RDOX Sensor: 94750
2. 7300w2 Controller: 94747 or 94748

To use sensor as a standalone loop-powered transmitter, order:
1. RDOX Sensor: 94750
2. Communications Device Kit: 43029

Special note: USEPA has granted nationwide approval to RDO methods for measuring Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD), and Dissolved Oxygen(DO) under the Clean Water Act. NPDES permit holders can use RDO methods for process, field and laboratory applications.

This means you can use RDOX technology for monitoring DO under the Clean Water Act, and NPDES permit holders can use this technology without additional approval from regional authorities.

Tech Specs:
  • Range: 0 to 60 ppm (mg/L)
  • Accuracy: ±0.1 ppm from 0 to 20 ppm; ±2% of reading from 20 to 60 ppm
  • Resolution: 0.01 ppm (mg/L)
  • Temp compensation: automatic from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C)
  • Cable: 33'L with tinned ends (extends up to 4000 feet)
  • Power: 8-36 VDC
  • Output: one at a time of Modbus RS-485, SDI-12, or 4-20 mA (3-wire)
  • Dimensions: 8"L x 1.85"Dia
  • Enclosure: IP68
  • Process connection: 1-1/4" NPT(F) threads for insertion mounting
