Description

Product Details
  • Real-time transmittance (UVT) or absorbance (UV254) organics monitoring
  • Tracks indicators for disinfection byproduct (DBP) potential
  • Confirms the efficiency of your UV system

Continuously monitor, control and optimize efficiency of your UV disinfection process water with the M3000 UV analyzer. This all-in-one unit determines concentration of potentially problematic aromatic organic matter. It emits ultraviolet light at a 254 nm wavelength, then measures how much UV the organics absorb. It's ideal for optimizing coagulation dosage, tracking DBP formation potential, monitoring source water, or any application where other organics monitoring solutions would be too complex or costly.

Continuous readings across two angles of the flow cell effectively perform constant calibration, which provides inherent compensation for flow cell fouling and lamp fluctuations. This gives you long-term assurance of measurement values and accuracy, and increased analyzer usage time between manual or in-situ calibration cycles.

Each analyzer includes a dehumidifier with a removable regenerating desiccant system (110 VAC plug-in) that keeps the flow cell free of interference caused by condensation. Routine analyzer maintenance includes replacing the UV lamp and ribbon cable after 18 months. Warning systems indicate low lamp life around 12,000 operating hours.

Includes: flow cell, calibration bottle, dehumidifier and standard power supply. Automatic chemical cleaning systems and additional accessories are sold separately.

Other UV254 models are available, with options such as integrated turbidity compensation (550 nm upgrade), alternate path lengths, and other UVA/UVT ranges. Contact USABlueBook's Technical Specialists for more information.
