HinderRUST HV-100 The Rust Shield is a heavy-duty lubricant that slowly thickens over time to provide added protection in extreme weather exposure. Weld-through tested and approved.
HinderRUST solvent-free rust stoppers and lubricants are engineered with Tufoil® Technology, a proprietary PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) chemistry. This low odor, low VOC formulas is nonflammable, won't evaporate and can be used in confined spaces.
Tufoil acts as a lubricant and wetting agent that spreads HinderRUST across the metal surface, displacing water and and enabling all three HinderRUST formulas to bond to the surface. HinderRUST also travels between metal plates, nuts and bolts to prevent them from rusting and sticking together.
