WIKA's FlexWindow is an innovative alternative to liquid-filled gauges with a traditional polycarbonate window and vent plug. The optically clear liquid silicone rubber (LSR) window expands or contracts to compensate for temperature-related overpressure or negative pressure. Because the window flexes, the gauge can be liquid-filled to 100%, so there's no bubble to impede your view!
LSR won't yellow over time, tolerates high temperatures, and resists shattering, scratches and punctures. It's much more resistant to chemicals than polycarbonate or PMMA plastic. Additionally, the convex window shape provides a magnifying effect, making the dial even easier to read.
