Automatic and manual gain provide maximum locating distance, while their easy-to-read LCD screen displays left/right guidance, depth reading and signal intensity.
A slim, ultralight transmitter combined with a retractable receiver makes the Rex among the most user-friendly and affordable multi-frequency locators on the market. The Rex offers the versatility of 512 Hz, 33 kHz and 82 kHz operating frequencies, along with a passive mode for locating 50/60-Hz electrical lines.
Note: All Rex locators use a direct-connect (conductive) tracer. When direct hook-up can't be made, use the optional inductive antenna or inductive clamps. For locating non-metallic pipe, just insert the optional mini transmitter (sonde) into the pipeline. In areas with loud background noise, plug the optional headphones into the receiver.
